Canadian Xtreme Adventures is an approved vendor for the Edmonton Public School Board and the only tour operator whose staff and Tourguides all hold current, criminal checks and first aid which are the requirements of the companies to be able to supply trained touguides on the buses to coordinate the tour rather than leaving your teachers and staff responsible.

Canadian Xtreme Adventures (CXA) would appreciate the opportunity to offer our student ski & snowboard packages for review and consideration.

 

CXA is a two year old organization in Edmonton, however, CXA owner has 27 year’s experience in the Edmonton Ski Snowboard Tourism Industry.  Additionally, the Xtreme Team inludes Tourguides with experience as teachers and student trip guides, which means they are specialized, well prepared and able to give a high quality of service specific to student needs. 

 

After researching  the needs of students, ski and snowboard tours, we feel that our packages include all the elements the teachers and parents are looking for while offering a very competitive package that is affordable to your students and their families.

Grade 7 Students will…

 

A7–1    demonstrate ways to improve and refine the functional

              and expressive quality of locomotor skills to improve

A7–3    demonstrate ways to improve and refine the functional

Grade 8 Students will…

 

A8–1    select, combine and perform specific locomotor skills in a

              variety of activities to improve personal   performance

A8–2    select, combine and perform locomotor skills by using

              elements of body and space awareness, effort and  

              relationships to improve personal performance

A8–3    select, combine and perform specific nonlocomotor skills

              in a variety of activities to improve personal  

              performance

A8–4    select, combine and perform nonlocomotor skills by using

              elements of body and awareness, effort and  

              relationships, to improve personal performance

A8–7    apply activity-specific skills in a variety of environments

              and using various equipment

Specifically, our self-drive tour package typically includes accommodations, lift passes, and additional activities at discounted rates during weekends and/or midweek. For our corporate or group outings, we offer Fly N’ Ski/Snowboard package which already includes flights with West jet from Edmonton to Kelowna, lift tickets and accommodation in the Big White Resort which is famed for its stunning snow view.
